- The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Services has issued an alert over ground beef possibly contaminated with plastic or metal.
- A customer of Ohio’s Stockyards Packing Company says they found hard plastic and metal fragments in their frozen beef.
- The affected product is labeled as “STOCKYARDS PACKING COMPANY GROUND BEEF”, with a lot code of 241210. It’s not on the market anymore but you’re advised to check your freezer and fridge.
- You can then either throw out the beef or return it to your place of purchase.
