A Massachusetts couple’s birth plan didn’t go as they imagined…
The wife Rebecca, was in labor as her husband, Danya drove them to the hospital. They were on their way and got stuck in traffic… bad traffic. Their GPS said they were about 56 minutes away from the hospital, but 26 minutes into the drive Rachel started giving birth!
Rebecca started screaming “She’s coming!” Danya said, “I’m driving, obviously I reach down and sure enough, I feel the top of my daughter’s head!”
Danya pulled over on the highway behind some bushes for privacy. He said, “She goes we’re gonna have to do this right here, so I said Okay baby, well let’s just go slow and figure it out.” After the birth, the couple and their new baby headed to Dunkin Donuts to wait for the paramedics.
Rebecca said, ” We cried all together, we were and are still in complete shock with an immense gratitude she and I are birth completely healthy.”
