“Deacon Dave” started a “Small Elf Village” in his back yard in the 80s. It went from 2,000 Christmas lights to now 900,000 Christmas light! One of his favorite displays he has put up in his yard is his “Proposal Bridge”. He said there been 82 marriage proposals over the years on the bridge under the lights!
The display he created is free, but there is a coin toss, a wishing pond and a donation box. All of the proceeds go to the local Santa’s Secret Service, which provides gifts to people during the Holidays!
