Local Jacksonville man Jay Schank heard that Jacob, a dying 9 year old boy from Maine only wanted Christmas cards sent to him. So Schank made him a “live Christmas card” in the sand. A message written in the sand on Amelia Island reaching the heart of a little boy all the way up in Maine. Thank you Mr. Schank, for representing Florida in such a positive way!

Now he is in the news again for losing a bet with the city that will cost him 10 million dollars after the Astros won the World Series! He is certainly a man of the people!
