Do you ever notice how your phone dies twice as fast when you’re traveling? Airports and other places you go through when you’re traveling always have some sponsored device where you can charge your phone for free! They’re so helpful!
At least that’s what we thought… The FBI is warning us not to use those free charging stations at places due to “Juice Jacking”. Juice Jacking is when a scammer installs a fake charging station filled with malware, waiting to steal your info once you plug in your phone or tablet.
The FBI is strongly advising us to bring our own charging cable and just plugging it into an electrical outlet so we keep our data safe.
